Dear Friends:

Some journalists have abandoned their traditional role as watchdogs of government. They're uncritically repeating Congressman Henry Waxman's party line, which claims that the Bush Administration has allowed its political ideology to influence the National Cancer Institute's statements about the abortion-breast cancer (ABC) link. They are providing free PR for medicine's elite and politicians worried about the ABC link's impact on their careers. There is just one problem with their propaganda. It is undeniable that the ABC research was concealed from women for several decades starting in 1957. In more recent years, six medical experts (independently of one another) accused the agency of scientific misconduct.  The agency posted lies on its Web site in 1999 and 2002, which can be easily confirmed by any non-scientist.

Two articles are offered below which discuss my speech at the 60th Meeting of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons.

Spread the word.

Sincerely,
Karen Malec

"Physicians' group informed of government cover-up at the National Cancer
Institute"
By Karen Malec
September 24, 2003

During a speech before the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons on September 19, 2003, I identified several lies about the abortion-breast cancer (ABC) research, which have been posted on the National Cancer Institute's (NCI) Web site since 1999.  One of the most egregious fabrications concocted by this political agency was this statement: "The scientific rationale for an association between abortion and breast cancer is based on limited experimental data in rats and is not consistent with human data."  On the contrary, 26 out of 32 studies in the worldwide medical literature reported risk elevations.  The agency provided some of the funding for most of the American studies - at that time, 12 out of 13 reported risk elevations.

This lie and others demonstrate that the Bush Administration needs to clean house at the NCI because its statements are no longer credible and the behavior of its leadership is criminal.  Yet, Congressman Henry Waxman, Senator Ted Kennedy, Ms. Magazine and some journalists (who've abandoned their traditional role as watchdogs of government) are propagandizing the American public by asserting that the administration has allowed its political ideology to influence the NCI's statements about the ABC link.  However, these abortion supporters will be unable to overcome one indisputable fact - the NCI and cancer groups have concealed the ABC research from the public since 1957.

The agency's leaders never intended for women to learn about the ABC research. The federal government has had a population control policy in place at least since the Nixon administration. Induced abortion is a necessary component of any conspicuously successful population control policy because all contraceptives have a failure rate. Henry Kissinger's National Security Council Memo (NSSM 200) reveals the thinking of government officials and the wealthiest men in American society and provides their rationale for the policy.  The document states that population control is necessary in order for the U.S. to maintain its economic dominance in the world's markets and for corporations to have unimpeded access to the world's resources. It states that the pressures of population growth are linked with civil unrest, famine, and food riots.  These conditions make it difficult for corporations to conduct business.  This is why the world's wealthiest men and Fortune 500 companies give millions to abortion providers like Planned Parenthood every year.

The government's 46-year cover-up of the ABC link (and the financial decision made by cancer groups to accept the government's agenda and avoid a politically explosive issue) has denied women with abortion histories opportunities to undertake risk reduction measures, join clinical trials, and seek early detection of the disease.  Abortion-bound girls and women have been stripped of their right to give informed consent for the procedure.  Parents have been denied their right to protect their daughters from the risks of abortion.  Some have lost their daughters to breast cancer.  Children have lost their mothers to the disease. It is incumbent upon physicians and journalists not to cooperate in the government's cover-up.

Feminists whose "women's" groups profit from abortion advocacy and the nation's elite have shown that they do not care if women suffer and die.  One thing can be said about them.  They are consistently pro-death.

"Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer makes serious allegations against the U.S. government"
By: Rusty Pugh

(AgapePress) The head of the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer is making some serious allegations against the U.S. government -- but claims they can all be documented.

Coalition president Karen Malec spoke to the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons Friday about the government's cover-up of the facts. She asserts that the National Cancer Institute (NCI) has for years deliberately distorted evidence that she says proves women who have had abortions have an increased risk of getting breast cancer. Malec says the NCI has lied about this evidence for years because they are attempting to manipulate public opinion. And the public health advocate says the NCI's motivation is money. "They get their funding from Congress, and there are abortion supporters in Congress that receive money for their campaigns from the abortion industry," she says. "So there's a lot of money that is behind this. There's a lot of money in the abortion industry -- we're talking billions or more."

Malec says the abortion industry is big business with major political influence. And she contends that the NCI is tailoring and selectively reporting the results of flawed studies to get the outcomes it desires and to keep the abortion industry from looking bad.

According to Malec, since 1971 the NCI's budget has ballooned from $150 million to $4.6 billion. Yet, she says, in the same time period cancer deaths have risen 30%. Malec says the NCI is a corrupt agency that is more concerned with politics than with the truth.
