Dear Friends: Yesterday, the Senate Subcommittee on Science, Technology, and Space conducted a hearing entitled, "The Impact of Abortion on Women." Four speakers testified, including Elizabeth Shadigian, M.D., Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics at the University of Michigan. She testified about the increased risks of breast cancer, placenta previa, maternal mortality and suicide - all of it bad news for members of Congress who accept campaign money from the abortion industry. Dr. Shadigian testified on the recognized breast cancer risk resulting from abortion - delayed first full term pregnancy (FFTP). Although she did not say so, one-half of all cases of breast cancer are due to delayed FFTP. It's indisputable that abortion is a primary method of delaying FFTP. She also testified about the "independent" link between abortion and breast cancer. What that means is that women who have abortions are left with more cancer-vulnerable cells than what they had before they became pregnant. She identified groups of women who are at especially high risk for the disease if they have abortions. Dr. Shadigian slammed the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists for censoring this life-saving information from women. The abortion industry and their sales ladies at left-leaning women's groups don't want you or your children to know about the risks associated with induced abortion. They don't care if girls and women die. They'd rather see a young woman develop breast cancer than lose an abortion sale. That makes me even more determined to bring you the information. Be sure to spread the word.
