Dear Friends:

The financial relationship between the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and Planned Parenthood has struck a nerve.  Many women, especially members of minority groups, are outraged and offended that Komen financially supports Planned Parenthood, a racist population control group whose founder made no secret of her ambition to eliminate the "dysgenic races."

Eve Sanchez Silver, a former Latina adviser for Komen and a two-time breast cancer survivor, is deeply offended by the overt efforts to draw Latinas into Planned Parenthood clinics.  She objects to what she calls "the Komen-Planned Parenthood Money Machine."

Spread the word and please consider donating to the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer.  You can make an on-line, tax-deductible donation at: <http://www.AbortionBreastCancer.com>.  Our work is only made possible with your financial help.

Let Komen know that you object to its gifts to Planned Parenthood and that its denials of an abortion-breast cancer link are killing women.  Contact information is provided in the article below.

Sincerely,

Komen's Grants to Planned Parenthood Continue / Women Object, But Aspen Affiliate Gives $12,887 to Abortion Provider

Lauren Senac at Right to Life of Indianapolis compiled an extensive report on the financial relationship between the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, a cancer fundraising business, and Planned Parenthood (PP).  She found numerous websites (many since taken down) showing that Komen affiliates give money to PP.

In her report, Senac copied a web page published in July 2005 belonging to Planned Parenthood of San Antonio and South Central Texas. A notice on the web page revealed that women are extremely angry with Komen for giving funds to the abortion provider.  The web page read as follows:

"Anti-Choice Detractors are Successfully Putting Pressure on the local Komen Affiliate for Supporting Planned Parenthood"

"The San Antonio Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation has received calls and e-mails from anti-choice activists.  Our detractors are pressuring Komen to end support for Planned Parenthood's Habla Con Tu Hermana breast health education programs.

"The leadership at Komen has pledged full support of Planned Parenthood despite the angry calls they have received over the last few weeks.  Planned Parenthood will have a presence at the race with an information table and a race team.  We want to continue to partner with the Komen Foundation to educate women in our community on breast health which in turns saves women's lives. ..."

If Komen's feminist officials were truly interested in "eradicating breast cancer," they would have denounced Planned Parenthood long ago for depriving women of what scientists say is the best way to prevent breast cancer - by having more children, starting before age 24, and breastfeeding them longer.

Komen's gifts to PP help the abortion provider to whitewash what it does, and they help to ensure Komen's future prosperity by perpetuating high breast cancer rates in the U.S. This year, 270,000 American women are expected to develop either invasive or in situ breast cancer.

Scientists discovered centuries ago that childbearing significantly reduces breast cancer risk.  Scientists drew this conclusion after observing that more nuns develop breast cancer than do childbearing women.

In the 20th Century, scientists discovered the biological reason why childbearing protects women from the disease, and the facts are indisputable.  There is only one way that a woman can mature her breast tissue into cancer-resistant, milk producing tissue - through a third trimester process in pregnancy called "differentiation." The differentiation process starts at 32 weeks of pregnancy, and it leaves women with about 75% of their breast lobules matured into cancer-resistant Types 3  lobules.   The more children a woman has, the more cancer-resistant lobules she develops.

Before she has a full term pregnancy, 70-75% of her lobules are cancer-vulnerable Type 1 lobules (also called "TDLUs" where cancers are known to develop) and 20% are cancer-vulnerable Type 2 lobules.  It is during this period in her life when she is the most susceptible to cancer-causing substances.  By having an early first full term pregnancy (before age 24), she'll develop cancer-resistant lobules earlier in her reproductive life, and she'll have a significantly lower lifetime risk for the disease.

So why aren't feminist businesswomen at Komen and other cancer fundraising businesses telling women the truth about scientists' findings? Perhaps it's because there's no money to be made by preventing breast cancer, but there's plenty of money to be made in breast cancer treatment and research.

Eve Sanchez Silver, a Latina woman who was once a popular speaker and Latina adviser for Komen, resigned from Komen last year after learning about the organization's unsavory relationship with PP, as well as Komen's failure to warn women about overwhelming evidence of an abortion-breast cancer link (evidence dating to the publication of the first study by Segi and his colleagues in the journal GANN in 1957).

Silver is post-abortive and a two-time breast cancer survivor.  She saw a report in the Aspen Times (Nov. 3, 2005) revealing that Komen's Aspen affiliate has designated $12,887 to the Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains Glenwood Springs Health Center. The funds are supposedly earmarked to draw Latina women into PP's clinic and provide breast health services.

PP is a racist, population control group whose founder, Margaret Sanger, frequently wrote about her desire to rid the world of "dysgenic races." These included just about everyone who wasn't of Anglo-Saxon descent.

Abortion allows PP to "get two for the price of one," i.e. two Latinas, two African Americans, two Poles, etc.  It can result in a double death for mother and child. After taking the unborn child's life, PP gets mom's life too - by causing her to develop breast cancer later in life.

Silver, who was deeply offended by the Komen-PP relationship, had this comment to make about the Aspen grant to PP:

"The Komen Foundation has boosted its grants by 30% and is using Latina women to funnel funds to Planned Parenthood. Latinas are being sold-out by Planned Parenthood who claims to be using breast services to under-served populations to save lives. This is an egregious lie. Planned Parenthood's own records show that when Planned Parenthood of North Texas received Komen funding in 2003, ostensibly for 'breast services', abortion services went UP and breast services went DOWN. Money is fungible. Komen naively states that they are providing funds that will have nothing to do with abortion. At Planned Parenthood? Oh, give us a break! ...The organizations have melded into one giant organization abortion-funding machine:  the Komen-Planned Parenthood Abortion Machine.

"Abortion kills the child and later the mother, through breast cancer. Komen (and) Planned Parenthood deny the abortion-breast cancer link. These are the undeniable physiological facts concerning the breast:

"-The breast is the only organ not fully developed at birth
-The breast is NEVER mature until after 32 weeks of pregnancy
-Interruption of a pregnancy before 32 weeks leaves cancer prone lobules exposed to the DNA damaging effects of estrogen, a hormone that causes breast cell proliferation
-50 out of 50 studies show that even ONE abortion places women at high risk of having pre-mature births....

"Latinas and other women of color are outraged that the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation supports Planned Parenthood an organization with murder at its heart, and designed from its inception to eliminate people of color, as its founder Margaret Sanger intended...."

The costs to society from abortion and its resulting risks of breast cancer and subsequent premature birth (a risk factor for cerebral palsy) are incalculably high.

So why not let Komen know that you're offended that its officials give grants to Planned Parenthood, that it's an offense to members of minority groups, and that Komen's denial of an abortion-breast cancer link is killing women?
