Dear Friends:
In our April 2006 newsletter, we revealed that some leaders of several cancer fundraising businesses have a serious conflict of interest. They have a previous association with Planned Parenthood, NARAL (the National Abortion Rights Action League), the American Civil Liberties Union or some other abortion clinic or abortion advocacy group.
This is problematic since a half-century of epidemiological, biological and experimental research supports abortion as a risk factor for breast cancer.
The most prominent examples of abortion industry influence in the cancer fundraising industry include Breast Cancer Action and the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC). Additionally, our readers are already aware that the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation gives funds to Planned Parenthood.
For revealing this information, the NBCC nominated the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer for a new "award" earlier this month. It's called the "Golden Boob Award." The NBCC's use of the term, "boob," is incredibly offensive to breast cancer patients and survivors, demeaning to women, childish and unprofessional.
We renew our challenge to the NBCC to debate the abortion-breast cancer link - our experts vs. their experts.
Jill Stanek offered her comments on the NBCC's sophomoric behavior in an article that she wrote for World Net Daily entitled, "The biggest boobs."
Stanek's article is available below. Spread the word.
Sincerely, Karen Malec Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer
