On his radio program last night, Michael Savage talked about the abortion-breast cancer link. He told audience that the link is definite. He said Ireland has the lowest breast cancer rates in Europe and the lowest abortion rate.
The Michael Savage show reaches 6 million people weekly. The website, www.MichaelSavage.com, features a NewsMax story, "Study: Abortion Fueling Cancer Epidemic."
We discussed the NewsMax story in our newsletter yesterday, but neglected to mention one thing. Dr. Michael Thun of the American Cancer Society told NewsMax, “A thorough review by the advisory committee of the National Cancer Institute concluded there was no evidence linking induced abortion to breast cancer. This study provides no evidence to challenge that conclusion.”
Professor Joel Brind (Breast Cancer Prevention Institute) accuses Michael Thun of "flat-out lying."
Brind told the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer that "He was an integral part of the 2003 National Cancer Institute's so called 'workshop', so he knows perfectly well that there was no 'thorough review'."
Too bad Thun doesn't care if women die!
Anyone can visit the National Cancer Institute's website, www.cancer.gov, and view the 3-day videocast of the sham workshop to confirm that scientists never examined the research that supports and abortion-breast cancer link. They only considered the evidence against it. Do a search on the term, "Early Reproductive Events and Breast Cancer" to find the videocast.
