Charnette Messe has asked the Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer to put out a prayer request for her family.
Charnette is a 37-year-old mother of two children. She has been battling advanced stage breast cancer for the last six years and has lost a breast to the disease. Charnette has been outspoken about the cause of her breast cancer. She attributes her illness to an abortion at age 20 and the use of hormonal contraceptives.
"Charnette blames the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the U.S. National Cancer Institute for failing to warn her about these cancer risks in the mid-1980s when sufficient evidence became available."
