Dear Friends:
Ann Coulter mentioned the abortion-breast cancer link in her June 25, 2008 article on energy policies entitled, "You can't fuel all of the people all of the time."
She said that liberals claim that our abortion-breast cancer studies can't be relied upon because "the people promoting the studies are 'anti-choice.'"
Never mind that most of the researchers who conducted those studies call themselves "pro-choice," such as Dr. Janet Daling of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Never mind that the overwhelming majority of those studies report risk increases for women who have abortions. Never mind that even critics of the abortion-breast cancer link within the scientific community admit that the biological reasons for such a link are sound.
Using the same reasoning that liberals have used against the abortion-breast cancer link, she argued that we shouldn't believe the liberals' energy policies. She claimed they "couldn't care less about high gas prices" because they've been clamoring for higher gas taxes since the Jimmy Carter Administration.
She concluded, "They refuse to believe our abortion studies? I refuse to believe they care about Americans having to pay high gas prices."
