They lied to you about "the pill." They lied about combined hormone replacement therapy. And now they're lying about abortion.
Although October is "Breast Cancer Awareness Month," you can count on cancer fundraising businesses to continue to keep women unaware of the link between abortion and breast cancer. Conclusive scientific evidence became available in the 1980s, but while breast cancer rates climbed dramatically, these fundraising professionals chose to keep women in the dark about three risk factors for breast cancer - combined (estrogen + progestin) hormone replacement therapy, combined oral contraceptives ("the pill"), and abortion.
