Coaliton on Abortion/Breast Cancer - Painfully taking the lives of the most defenseless

Dear Friends:

Peter Kavanaugh, MLC (Democratic Labor Party) is a Member of the Victorian Parliament. (His position might be compared to that of a state senator in the U.S.)

Two months ago, he was highly critical of a report completed by the Victorian Law Reform Commission discussing the decriminalization of abortion. He objected, in part, because the commission failed to recommend measures that would protect the physical and mental health of pregnant mothers. One of the risks he mentioned was breast cancer.

In his article for News Weekly on October 11, 2008, he explained how abortion hurts women and warned of the breast cancer risk, among other risks.
