Dear Friends:

The Coalition on Abortion/Breast Cancer's 10th Anniversary will take place next year, but our financial situation looks grim.  During the last few months, donations have been particularly low.  In fact, our fundraising level is so low that few organizations in our position would keep their doors open.

As the end of the year approaches, we hope you will remember the Coalition by sending a tax-deductible
contribution.

Unlike our opponents, we are volunteers who view our work as a vocation, not an occupation.  We do not draw salaries from the Coalition or any other organization because we are dedicated to protecting women's health.  We have made personal sacrifices in order to make the Coalition successful in terms of educating millions around the world about the abortion-breast cancer link.

During the last ten years we have distributed 618,000 educational brochures.  We've reached a countless number of people throughout the world through the information posted on our website; hundreds of radio, television and newspaper interviews; and travel to U.S. and European conferences to give lectures.

We are pleading with you to stand with us to protect women's health by sending a sacrificial, end-of-year
donation.

As our supporter, we are confident you have a genuine concern for BOTH women's and children's lives and that you share our belief that women have a right to know that abortion is unsafe and lethal (not safe and legal). Yet, we appreciate the fact that the economy is in a recession and that many people are limiting their expenditures.

Nevertheless, please remember that abortions continue throughout much of the world.  Those who profit from abortion and breast cancer fundraising continue to deny women access to lifesaving information about the abortion-breast cancer link.

Actions speak louder than words.  Our opponents' actions tell us they are consistently pro-death for both women and children.  They may pay lip service to being "pro-choice," but they lose their credibility by suppressing efforts to give women a REAL CHOICE between life and death.

They lie to women by calling abortion "safe" and refusing to acknowledge that a large body of peer-reviewed scientific evidence conducted during the last half century proves abortion is extremely hazardous to women's physical and mental health.

Similarly, those who call themselves "pro-life" can lose their credibility when they only care about saving children's lives, but are completely unconcerned about protecting the mothers' lives.

If you have been blessed this holiday season with a job, home and other necessities of life, we would be exceedingly grateful for your financial
contribution.  Can you afford to send a donation amounting to $1,000 or $500?  Can you afford $250 or $100?  We have high hopes that our supporters can send us many $50, $25 and gifts in other amounts too.  We even welcome the "widow's mite"!

Thank you.  May God bless you and your family during the New Year.

Sincerely,
Karen Malec
