Dear Friends:

Microbiologist Gerard Nadal wrote on his blog that he will report on one abortion-breast cancer study daily until he has exhausted all of the abortion-breast cancer (ABC) studies that our organization sends to him. He anticipates that he may be reporting on these studies as late as January or February of 2011.

His first article, "The ABC Literature: #1," reviews a 1997 epidemiological study by Julie Palmer, Lynn Rosenberg and their colleagues, "Induced and spontaneous abortion in relation to breast cancer," published in the journal, Cancer Causes and Control.

Drs. Palmer and Rosenberg are not unbiased researchers. They have testified as expert witnesses on behalf of abortion providers in the most extreme cases, ie, in lawsuits challenging the states of Alaska and Florida because of their parental notice or consent laws.

In 1999, an attorney for the state of Florida cornered Dr. Rosenberg into an admission implicating abortion as a risk factor for breast cancer insofar as the loss of the protective effect of childbearing is concerned. You can read our discussion of Rosenberg's testimony on our website.

Dr. Palmer testified in an Alaska lawsuit that she was a nursing student when she had previously worked as a counselor for an abortion clinic. We hope to be have a copy of her deposition to share with our readers next week.

Sincerely,
Karen Malec
